Mr. Wang is the founder of WB Law Firm and focuses his practice on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, family law (including divorce and property disputes, custody disputes, family wealth and inheritance), investment and immigration, and corporate and financial capital related legal services.
After graduating from the University of New South Wales, Mr. Wang joined the Sydney office of Ashurst LLP in 2007, where he focused on commercial law and commercial litigation and arbitration, drafting Chinese and foreign legal documents, negotiating international commercial transactions and reviewing investment contracts, gaining extensive experience in commercial law. In 2011, he was invited to join Fragomen, the world’s largest US-based immigration law firm, where he focuses on providing immigration and investment business legal advice and dispute resolution services to Chinese clients in Australia.
Mr. Wang has represented well-known Chinese corporate clients in a large number of complex foreign-related civil and criminal litigation and commercial arbitration cases in courts and foreign arbitration bodies throughout Australia, covering a wide range of specialist areas such as real estate, construction and engineering, international sale of goods and product liability.
Mr. Wang also has a strong background in defamation and reputation infringement cases, and has represented clients in defamation cases in the Federal Court of Australia. Mr. Wang also has extensive experience in dealing with various other government investigations and responses such as the Australian Immigration Service and ATO.
In addition, Mr. Wang assists clients in planning for family wealth management and succession, and in structuring the continued growth of family businesses. Specialising in divorce property division and cross-border child custody disputes, Mr. Wang is able to draw on his expertise and practical experience at the intersection of family law, immigration law and corporate law to achieve satisfactory advocacy results in family law cases.
